Description

Vintage Ringside BELL 8" BOXING RING FIRE HOUSE School Bell. Condition is "Used".
Different than any other bells I've seen, this one instead of hitting with a hammer or pulling a chord is rung by hitting the small round circular section on the outside of the bell. It may be neither a ringside or school bell. It mounts as seen in the photos and is rung when the round protruding section is smacked.
The only marking I could find appears to be 1747 or 41747 (last photo). I can't make it out clearly.
