Gorgeous colors! This beautiful Chinese porcelain footbath is hand painted in deep midnight blue and gold. It features a lotus scroll design, possibly Satsuma.
Footbath is highly decorated and hand painted in gilt. Interior features hand painted artwork of colorful koi fish as though swimming around a bowl.
The piece is fairly large, measuring approximately 17.5" wide, including handles; 10.5" across; 6.25" tall. Weighs just over 9 pounds.
Some collectors use these pieces today not as footbaths, but as decorative planters.
