    SMOKE Glass YORK DECANTER Per Lutken for HOLMEGAARD ca 1953-71 Danish Modern
    I'm pleased to offer this "York" glass decanter with stopper designed by Danish designer Per Lutken for Holmegaard. This pattern range was produced from 1953-71.
    This mould blown and hot-worked decanter is an organic, softened triangular design with pinched sides for easy handling and pouring. The stopper is also a pinched design, and fits perfectly.
    It measures 9" tall to the top of the stopper and is approximately 5.5" wide at the widest part of the body.   The bottom is ground and polished to sit flat.
    In very good vintage condition with minor scratches on the body consistent with age and normal wear. There are a few hard water stains on the inside that are present, but when decanter has liquid in it those aren't visible. Really a terrific addition to your mid-century barware!
    No backstamp on this decanter, but from what I've read about other York decanters for sale, they originally had foil labels, no markings on the bottom.
