'Canada' is a Danish Modern classic design, as featured in Vigier and Pina's 'Scandinavian Glass 1930-2000, Smoke and Ice' book. The smoke version of Canada is often referred to as Scanada because the original boxes used S for smoke as a prefix before ‘Canada'.
These are the smallest size Canada glasses - the '8.2cm snapsglas'. Snaps in Denmark is usually a strong spirit called Akvavit or Cordial (liqueur). Apx 1 oz size, so perfect for stronger smaller single shots. They are all 8cm tall. Unsigned. Being handmade they vary very slightly, see photos.
Excellent collectable and usable examples. The smoke coloring is typical of the mid century era - perfect to go with your retro home.
