This stunning, Scandinavian 'Gulvvase' (Danish for floor vase) is a rare find: they seldom have the matching stopper, the taller versions are hard to come by and they are scarce in the U.S. This example is a deep green cased glass with white 'opal' interior casing. Did I mention that it includes the stopper? Made by Holmegaard of Denmark, and designed by Otto Brauer in 1962. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. A handmade work of art.
