Holmegaard Per Lutken Duck Lips Vase. Per Lutken designed this uniquely-shaped vase for Holmegaard of Denmark in the 1950's. They were popularly referred to as "naebe vase" or "beak vase" because of the resemblance to a duck's beak. They came in a variety of sizes and colors, from 3 inches to 20 inches tall and in blue, green, clear and multicolored. This particular example is blue and just about 10 inches tall. It's marked on the bottom with the Holmegaard name and Lutken's mark in the middle of the year of manufacture, 1955
