Cast-Brass-Housed Bell PARTRICK & WILKINS CO 8000R working school boxing fire

Description

This brass alert bell is in great condition! The housing is entirely made of thick cast brass and has a rugged industrial construction. All screws are brass as well for easy dissasembly and reassembly. The actual bell itself is painted steel. I have rewired this piece and tested it, and boy does it work (it's loud!) I have never seen another bell made by this company - Partrick & Williams Co. of Philadelphia, PA - which indicates that it is an uncommon piece. It's not often that you see these made of cast brass and of this sturdy quality these days. The piece measures 4" deep by 8" tall with the bell being 8" in diameter.
