    Antique telegraphing fire alarm box:  Pull Handle Down Once Let Go.
    Telegragph fire alarms were first introduced in 1852.
    This alarm box points to Gamewell as the manufacture.
    Cast iron Box is *HEAVY* (19 lbs) appears to be all original.  Rustic condition, untested, missing the "Handle" pictured as found.  May have been re-painted some time ago.
    Measures 10.5" tall, 8 5/8" wide, about 3 3/4" deep.
