Antique Lamm Dresden Cabinet Plate, Scenic

Description

Condition: With exception of very slight wear to the inner gold ring, it is in excellent condition.
This plate was produced in Germany by the Ambrosius Lamm Dresden studio before 1890.
It measures 8 1/4” in diameter.
It has a deep cobalt blue border that is accented with elaborate raised gilding.
The center of the plate has a hand painted scene of young lovers in 18th century dress, strolling in a garden.
The painting is expertly executed with fine details and vibrant colors.
There is a gilded garland encircling the scene.  #C370
