Beautifully decorated - in fair vintage condition - This table is Edwardian in era c1900-1920 assume Chinese - on bracket feet three octagonal plates for cakes, desserts or small plants - overall a reddish brown / black lacquer ware with three different scenes - wear overall - faded - I have done a cursory wash with soap and water and polished with a bit of bees wax - otherwise as I found it - measures 30 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 9 1/4 inches - fairly light weight - approximately 2-3lbs - each octagonal tray measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter - the top (and most worn) depicts moths or butterflies with red cherry blossoms on a branch - the middle depicts two song birds on a plain leafed branch and the bottom the most elaborate - a bird of prey on a branch with prunus blossoms and a branch of camelia blossoms? - the lacquer is faded - has a reddish tinge - there is loss to wear edges and a scrape to base of one plate - loose at fittings and loss at nail heads - slightly wobbly.
