1940s Federal siren type W 6 volt serial #RE950LT untested turns off pre 47 Ford

For sale here I have a 1940s Federal Type W 6 volt siren that was removed from a 1947 or older Ford firetruck.  This siren is untested but turns by hand.  The siren measures 15 inches long with a nice red 6 inch glass lens.  I can see that it has a vintage Mazda bulb behind the lens.  The aluminum base is nice and measures 8 inches long.  The body of the siren is fairly straight with some scratches.  There is a crack in the rear body portion of the siren down near the base that is pictured.  The serial number on the factory plate is RE950LT.  This would make a great addition to a 1930s or 1940s low rider/restoration or put it back on an old fire truck.  Insured shipping will be a flat rate of through UPS and local pickup is always free.
